Well-founded tests, detailed vehicle evaluations and a focus on performance and driving dynamics is what the sport auto editorial team is known for. The sport auto Award is one of the most prestigious readers' awards in the automotive and tuning sector in Germany. Every year, the readers of sport auto magazine vote for their favourites in various categories, including series models and tuning models.
With an impressive 38.6% of the votes, the ABT RS3-R continues its successful course from 2023. Equipped with ABT aerodynamic components, high-quality refinements in the interior and a flow-optimised intercooler, which in combination with ABT Engine Control (AEC) extracts a maximum output of 500 hp (368 kW) and 600 Nm of torque from the five-cylinder engine, the lightweight Sportback impresses across the board.
‘We are particularly pleased about the award for the ABT Urus Scatenato in the Tuning SUV category,’ emphasised Managing Partner Hans-Jürgen Abt, who accepted the award in person together with ABT Head of Sports Communications Harry Unflath. ‘It is not only a great honour that we were able to take first place in this readers' poll with our first Lamborghini project, but we are also pleased to see that our products have struck a chord with the target group.’
The ABT Urus Scatenato, limited to 99 units, is a ragingly wild power machine, which is the translation of ‘Scatenato’. The ABT Power R technology, including ABT turbocharger and flow-optimised intercooler, gives the V8 biturbo engine of the Urus, Urus S and Urus Performante in the ABT version up to 840 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. Thanks to this increase in power, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds despite its high fighting weight and sets standards as a genuine Super Utility Vehicle.
