When more than four decades ago Audi presented the “80”, the new A4’s “forefather”, ABT was part of it. “The A4 is a benchmark against which Audi’s competitors have to be measured. Active
With indirect (passive) TPMS, no sensors are used in the tires, but existing ESP or ABS sensors are used. Since the tire speed increases automatically when there is a loss of pressure, the pressure loss can be determined based on the different speeds of the wheels on an axle and displayed to the driver in the cockpit. With direct (active) TPMS, each tire has its own sensor that monitors pressure and temperature. The collected data is sent wirelessly to a control unit in the vehicle. The direct TPMS is much more accurate than the indirect one, as it measures the tire pressure in real time and even when stationary, and precisely identifies the tire that has lost pressure.

Enhanced driving dynamics for the A4
More dynamic cornering? In the A4, ABT height adjustable suspension springs ensure just that. They provide adjustable lowering between 15 and 40 mm (between 0.6 an 1.5 inches) all round, thus ensuring a more sportier handling.
And in this way, the perfectly proportioned and dynamic ABT alloy wheels can be shown off to even greater advantage. The models ER-C (19 and 20 inch), FR (20 inch) and GR (20 inch) are available in different finishes like Matt Black or Glossy Black.
Last but not least selected ABT parts for the interior like a carbon fiber shift knob cover, entrance lights or a Start-Stop switch cap offer an individual touch.
