ABT Sportsline, the leading tuner for vehicles of the Audi and VW Group, inspires its fans time and again with extraordinary special models. The latest example of this is the ABT RS6 Legacy Edition (LE), limited to 200 units. The high-performance sports car promises uncompromising design paired with high everyday usability.
One of the aerodynamic highlights is the ABT carbon hood insert integrated into the hood of the ABT RS6-LE, which - in addition to visual aspects - provides improved heat dissipation of the V8 bi-turbo engine. The limited special model passed the legally prescribed head impact tests for the approval of the ABT carbon hood insert in the area of application of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) without any problems. However, this is only a small part of the extensive aerodynamic kit that ABT has given the car. Numerous add-on parts made of visible carbon, such as the front lip, mirror cap attachments, side skirts, rear skirt insert, or the rear wing make it clear that this RS6 is a very special Avant.
ABT enhances the already high-quality interior of the Audi RS6 with Dinamica soul fabrics on the gearshift paddles, door sill trims and on the dashboard and seat frame trims. Dinamica is characterized in particular by its very fine fiber composition. This flame-retardant, soft, suede-like surface is optimally protected against moisture and dirt by a Teflon coating.
The ABT steering wheel stands out due to the high-quality Alcantara finish and the sporty 12 o'clock marking, which shines discreetly red through the perforated material. Every ABT steering wheel has the full range of sensors, analog to the original Audi steering wheel. The fact that this is a limited special model is also clearly visible with the refinement of the front seats that includes the ABT logo in the headrest and RS6-LE logo in the backseat headrests. The RS6-LE logo is also embroidered into the ABT floor mats. Further modifications to the interior of the ABT RS6 Legacy Edition also include door entry lighting, a start-stop switch cap and the trunk mat in the ABT design.
For an RS6 with dynamic ride control suspension ABT coilover springs and the ABT sports stabilizers on the front and rear axles ensure that the performance is perfectly transferred to the road. The ABT HIGH PERFORMANCE IR22 forged rims in Glossy Black also contribute to an improved road handling. The ABT exhaust system is made of stainless steel and ends in 4-ABT pipe trims, each having a diameter of 102 mm.
For the European Audi RS6 Performance model ABT has increased the standard 630 HP thanks to the in-house ABT POWER R technology to approximately 760 HP and 980 Nm* (723 lb-ft) which includes updating the turbochargers, a new ABT intercooler and carbon front skirt inserts including air intake grilles with an optimised air routing. The power upgrade figures for the North American spec RS6 will be announced at a later date.

The Legacy Edition is uncompromisingly sporty from front to rear.
The carbon front bonnet insert is a particular highlight, which not only sets visual accents, but also improves heat dissipation of the performance-upgraded V8 engine. Approval of all ABT components is mandatory for each of our vehicles. It also sailed through the legally prescribed head impact tests for pedestrian protection.
Further extensive aerodynamic details made of visible carbon such as the front lip, front skirt inserts with the enlarged air intake grilles, wheel arch ventilation, mirror cap attachments, side skirts, rear skirt insert and the clearly offset rear wing make the ABT RS6-LE stand out in any crowd.
If you want to be seen, you also have to be heard. This is where the ABT stainless steel silencer system with 4 102-mm ABT endpipe trims comes into play, creating a powerful sound.
The perfectly tuned suspension with ABT coilover springs and the ABT anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles ensure optimum road holding. ABT sports suspension is optionally available. The HIGH PERFORMANCE IR22 forged rim in glossy black, specially developed for our very special vehicles, has been equipped with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport 295/30 ZR22.

Whether gearshift paddles, switch panel or seat frame trims - the innovative microfibre fabric Dinamica promises the finest feel and first-class appearance. This suede-like fabric is coated with Teflon and is not only pleasant to the touch and classy, but also water-repellent, flame-resistant and extremely robust. Last but not least, the manufacturing process is more environmentally friendly than other materials as it uses less water and also utilises recycled materials.
Our engineers have paid particular attention to the steering wheel. A discreet red 12 o'clock marker shines through the perforated material to emphasise the RS6-LE’s sportiness, while retaining the full sensor system with which the standard steering wheel is equipped.
The door entry lighting elegantly projects the ABT logo onto the ground as you enter the vehicle. The ABT Start-Stop switch cap and the RS6 LE logo on headrests and floor mats, door sill trims and ABT boot mat round off the interior refinement.
