Audi S5

The S5 Sportback combines form and function like no other car from the Audi company and ABT is offering just the right amount of upgrades to increase performance and sharpen the look of the elegant midsize all-wheel-drive.  Leaving the S5 Sportback in the hands of ABT, the 3.0-liter V6 engine gets a boost of up to 419 HP and 405 lb-ft (stock performance: 349 HP / 369 lb-ft). Power is applied in a safe and reliable way through the separate ABT Engine Control (AEC) unit, that is only increasing driving pleasure but not the service life the engine.

The S5’s transverse dynamics are tuned to perfection with ABT height adjustable suspension springs. They facilitate adjustable lowering from 0.6 to 1.5 inches (15 mm to 40 mm) at the front and rear axles and can be optionally combined with ABT anti-roll bars.

In addition to lowering, 19-inch and 20-inch ABT Sport ER-C and GR alloy wheels further enhance the appearance of the vehicle.  The elegant Glossy Black finish of the GR wheel is a perfect match for the S5 Sportback. An individual touch on the inside is offered with ABT entrance lights, carbon fiber shift knob cover and start-stop cap.

Just like the S5 Sportback, the Coupe comes with a 3.0-liter V6 that produces 349 hp and 369 lb-ft. Thanks to ABT Power, however, the output can increase of up to 419 HP and 405 lb-ft. Despite the extra power, the vehicle´s engines are not overloaded.

As the performance is to be heard and felt, but not necessarily to be seen, the sporting cars from Ingolstadt receive discreet ABT emblems on the rear and the front grille. The ABT sports rims are another power increase indication. 19 and 20 inch wheel rims are available in different colors. The highlight is of course the 20 inch ABT Sport GR wheel rim in Matt Black or Glossy Black.

The special character of the ABT S5 can be seen directly as the door is opened and the ABT logo entry lights project on the surface or with the ABT carbon fiber shift knob cover and start-stop cap.

After all, you can relax in the sun on deck while the nicest travel destinations in the world just seem to float by – even though in reality it’s actually the other way round. Anyone who prefers a more active role, should drive a fast convertible, such as the Audi S5. Four fast “deck chairs” invite you to cruise. The engine room has 349 hp and the maximum torque of 369 lb-ft. Hans-Jürgen Abt, captain of the tuning company bearing his name in Bavaria, can provide even more thrust if required.

Thanks to ABT Power with a specially developed control unit, the S5 convertible has received a 20% power boost to reach 419 HP  and a maximum torque of 405 lb-ft. Extensive testing and developing protect the owner from experiencing shipwreck.

While boat owners might use tires as a common replacement for fenders to protect their vessel from being damaged in the harbor, the tires on the S5 Cabriolet have a much more important job on the ABT rim. The customers can choose between different ABT alloy wheels. The ER-C design is available in 19 inch while the GR design offers 20 inch rims. Depending on the model selected different finishes are available: from Matt Black to Glossy Black.

To give the captain’s cabin an exclusive look, ABT Sportsline also offers integrated entrance lights, which project the ABT logo onto the ground via LEDs. A carbon fiber shift knob cover and start-stop cap complete the picture and show that nothing has been left to chance.
