As an SUV the Audi Q8 requires a strong front so ABT supports the aggressive factory octagonal grille by adding a dynamic front lip and highlights for the sideward air inlets. But the most eye-catching changes are happening to the rear of the car. ABT is taking the factory rear skirt insert with its square-shaped openings and replacing it with a prominent diffuser that features double exhaust bezels. Painted in glossy black on the show car the aerodynamic add-ons create a beautiful contrast to the white body of the Q8. The new aerodynamic designs will be topped off by a sleek rear spoiler that perfectly blends in with the sporty factory incline.
ABT is also adding more luxury to the interior of the Q8 by providing a carbon fiber shift knob cover, dashboard side panels and front seat panels coated in carbon fiber, a start/stop switch cap and door entry lights, which project the ABT logo onto the asphalt when opening the doors.
An athletic character of a car is not only defined by its body but also through its suspension. That is why ABT will be offering an electronic lowering through a level control for the adaptive air suspension of the Q8. An ABT conversion of an Audi wouldn’t be complete with right set of wheels. Currently available are ABT FR22 and GR22 wheels and though the GR22 rims in glossy black look strikingly good on the show car, Q8 people can look forward to a 23” wheel surprise soon.
