DTM

The DTM is Germany’s most popular racing series and will be organised by Europe’s largest automobile club for the first time in 2023. ABT Sportsline will be on the grid with two ABT Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II cars for Ricardo Feller and Kelvin van der Linde.

FIA Formula E

ABT Sportsline returned to the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in 2023 and entered two new-generation Gen3 cars as a customer team. ABT was already part of the Formula E family for the first seven years and is still one of the most successful teams in the all-electric racing series.

24H

After last year’s highly acclaimed premiere, ABT Sportsline will once again be competing in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2024. Red Bull Team ABT will field a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 with drivers Marco Mapelli, Jordan Pepper and Kelvin van der Linde in Germany’s biggest sporting event.

About us
Our German Motorsports Center
A home for racing

Our successful Motorsport Teams are based at a modern 2,400 square meter motorsport center in Kempten in Bavaria. Among other things, the race cars for the DTM are prepared here.

Perfect prerequisites

"Motorsport is our great passion and has been a priority in the company for decades," says CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt. "This unique building complex offers us the perfect preconditions for the challenges we face on a daily basis. Our team has optimum working conditions and plenty of space for new ideas."

Impressing inside and outside

Folded, matt black steel plates and red high-gloss aluminum dominate the external cladding of the "hallowed halls". "The concept of 'manufacturing' in its original sense played a central role in the development of this building," explains Marco Hippmann from Hippmann Hardegger Architects in Stuttgart. As the project manager in Kempten, Harald Seyband was responsible for the short construction time of only ten months. "Our main goal was to create a highly functional building that illustrates ABT as a high-tech company. This is underscored by the minimalist red-black paneling."

Motorsport paradise

On the inside, employees have their own little motorsport paradise: spacious work areas, modern offices, dedicated carbon and transmission workshops, a car wash, modern equipment, a spacious warehouse and even an in-house gym. The connected parking garage offers space for five semi truck trailers which can be loaded and unloaded regardless of the weather. Even the daily pit stop training can be conducted in the workshop.

Motorsport achievements

As a private team or as a factory team, ABT has achieved wins and titles in all important circuit racing categories, with touring cars as well as with sportscars and formula cars.
