The original Volkswagen Beetle was an evergreen, a mass-consumption vehicle, both in Germany and worldwide. The Beetle was dependable and robust, it looked nice and was very distinct. Incidentally, it was also a sportsman and film star and this potential for a cult following is what characterises its successor as well, especially when optimized by us.
