The top level in its class
The SQ5 is now available in two body styles: as a powerful SUV and as the dynamic SQ5 Sportback. Both models have a commanding presence as standard – but the Sportback adds an extra dose of dynamism with its coupé-like lines. This is exactly where we come in: with our striking personalisation package, we accentuate the sporty, elegant silhouette and turn the SQ5 into a statement that leaves no room for doubt.
At the heart of both variants is the turbocharged six-cylinder petrol engine, which delivers 270 kW (367 hp) and 550 Nm as standard. We build on this – with two clearly defined performance levels:
- ABT Power S with approx. 440 hp and 600 Nm
- ABT Power R with approx. 470 hp and 650 Nm
With ABT Power S, performance is noticeably enhanced: more punch, more torque, more confidence in every driving situation. Those who wish to experience the engine’s full potential should choose ABT Power R. The top speed remains at standard levels, but the journey to reach it becomes significantly more impressive – with more powerful acceleration and impressive elasticity across the entire rev range.

To ensure that the increased performance is showcased to perfection both visually and in terms of driving dynamics, the SQ5 SUV and Sportback are offered a comprehensive customisation programme. Our aerodynamic components, featuring an ABT front spoiler and ABT rear apron insert, create an even more striking, wider and sportier appearance. The lines are sharpened, and on the Sportback, the coupé-like silhouette is emphasised particularly impressively – the result is an SUV coupé with clear performance DNA.
To balance this, the SQ5 SUV also receives a rear spoiler.
Four ABT stainless steel tailpipe trims in matt black (diameter 102 millimetres) make an unmistakable statement at the rear. They underline the sporty character and make the enhanced performance visually apparent.
Inside, exclusive ABT floor mats and ABT door sill lighting create a harmonious overall look.
ABT suspension springs, which lower the car by 40 to 45 millimetres, ensure excellent road holding. This makes the handling more precise, reduces body roll and gives the SQ5 an even more commanding presence.
A key design and performance feature is the 22-inch ABT EVO sports rims in glossy black, fitted with 255/35 ZR22 tyres. They fill the wheel arches powerfully, enhance the sporty appearance and, thanks to their lightweight construction, contribute to precise, direct handling.
The combination of lowered suspension, large-format wheels and aerodynamic upgrades makes the SQ5 an SUV with a significantly sharper, more dynamic presence.
